WordPress - Password lost problem

So I had someone be unable to log into their WP dashboard either because the password was wrong or lost or forgotten or whatever. AND the stupid WP forgot your password? function wasn’t working (and I still can’t get it to work). What to do? We still had access to Cpanel, so:
1. Went to another WP site where I could get in still
2. Created a new user with the password “123456″
3. Went to that site’s Cpanel interface, went to PhP MyAdmin, navigated to the “wp_users” table
4. Copied the encrypted password from that user’s record in the table
5. Logged into the problem site, and navigated to that site’s PhP MyAdmin and inserted the encrypted password into the record in the table.
6. Logged into WP.
7. Rejoiced

Memory allocation error - Plugin page in WP Dashboard

So for those who actually read my blog and could give a crap about techie stuff…sorry! I need a place to start blogging about the stuff I’m running into and this is going to be the place for now.

Out of the blue, logged into a client’s site and clicked on the “Plugins” section of WP Dashboard.
Using WP 2.3.3
Got an error page:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16xxxx bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /wp-includes/plugin.php on line 4

Finally found this on WP’s site:

added ini_set(”memory_limit”,”32M”); to line 2 of plugin.php and it seems to be working fine. We’ll see

I’ve heard a little Ladytron before (Seventeen, Destroy Everything You Touch), and have loved the 80’s synthy backgrounds and ethereal vocals. The music seems bouncy, something you might hear in a club, but then you’re not really sure, especially when the lyrics have a darker, more subversive feel to them (”They only want you when your seventeen, when you’re twenty-one, you’re no fun).
