Why I’m doing this

So what is the website for? That has been the first question out of most people’s mouths when I’ve said I’m creating my own site. What is it for? I have had some difficulty in providing an answer to this question, and find myself perplexed by the struggle to explain its purpose while still feeling compelled to create it. It has been a compulsion, too. For the sake of saving everyone from the chaotic musings of my brain, I’ve simply decided to say that it’s my blog, and it will certainly be that. I hope that it will be more than that, though.

I have entered into a phase of my life where one of my purposes is the pursuit of self-expression, and I think this site is my attempt to play around with that. I have never really considered myself a creative person, and so I feel like I need as many different sandboxes to explore ideas as I can find, so this is just one. So there you have it. It’s gonna be a place for me to explore my creative side, to document my life, and hopefully get some feedback from my friends.
